WELCOME TO THE ALLIANCE

The second year of Galacitcon has come and gone, and was a HUGE success. We would like to thank everyone who participated in this event. It was your help and contributions that made this con such a huge success. We really enjoyed having you at the con; your presence was definitely felt.

Ladies and Gentlemen, It is my pleasure to announce that Galaction 2008 is now upon us!

The memebrs of the Tidewater Alliance along side such groups as the Rebel Legion, The Fighting 501st, The IKV Bat'leth, The Camarillia, and many more Science Fiction and Fantasy groups in the Hampton Roads area will be bringing fans another fun filled event.

Galacticon is March 22nd from 9:00am until 5:00pm and will have a complete programming schedule in the Auditorium, as well as Fangroups and vendors being set up in rooms and throughout the hallways.

So if your interested in becoming a member, or maybe you just want to come out and see what all the hype is about. We hope to see you there for a great time!

Members of the Tidewater Alliance had the distinct privilege of helping a very special friend celebrate his birthday today. Austin, who is now nine years old posed like a champ, and held a lightsaber like a Jedi Master. Austins friends and family were also able to get in on the fun and pose for pictures alongside members of the Tidewater Alliance. Pictures will be posted in our Event Pictures section soon.
To Austins family…we thank you for the opportunity to allow us to share our passion and love with you, your family, and your friends. Thank you for such a great time.

Members of the Tidewater Alliance will be teaming up with the Hampton Roads Rebellion, The Fighting 501st, and the United States Marine Corps on Saturday, November 17th at Lynnhaven Mall for Toy's for Tots. We will be located in front of the Disney store from 11:00am until 3:00pm.

So feel free to stop by with a new, unwrapped toy. It is for a good cause. See you out there!
