The Tidewater Alliance will be supporting Tidewater Serenity and the Samaritan House this June with their screening of the movie Serenity and Dr. Horrible''s Sing Along Blog. Come and join Tidewater Serenity, Samaritan House, and the Tidewater Alliance in a great cause. Plus it''s a good excuse to have some fun with friends and family. We hope to see you there!

Galacticon 2010!!!

The Tidewater Alliance once again hosted it''''s annual Galacticon this year with tremendous success!

With more vendors, artists, and authors than ever before, this years Galacticon was a sight to behold. All the panels had great attendance, and patrons, fangroups, vendors, authors, and staff had a great time. We hope to see everyone again next year!

The Tidewater Alliance will be officially participating in this years convention on June 6th with its outstanding dislpay and movie quality costumes. WE welcome Fantasci back into the fold and hope for many more years of Science Fiction and Fantasy conventions in Chesapeake!

The Tidewater Alliance took pleasure in awarding Shannon McRandle (Mara Jade Skywalker) honorary membership within the group today. Chapter Representative and President Jason Bruggeman infront of the Tidewater Alliance, awarded Shannon with a framed certificate of Honorary Membership and a personalized desk clock with the engraving "Shannon McRandle, Honorary Member of the Tidewater Alliance." at the August Monthly Meeting.

Toy''s R Us Strikes Again

The Tidewater Alliance will be promoting the new animated theatrical release of "Clone Wars" alongside Toy''''s R Us during the midnight "Clone Wars" toy release. Costumed members of the Tidewater Alliance will be out in force promoting this new release, entertaining fellow Star Wars fans, and looking for those soon to be hard to find collectible items. Once again, The Tidewater Alliance teams up with Regal Cinemas Entertainment Group for another LucasFilms production midnight release. With it being three years since the Tidewater Alliance has promoted a midnight release, we are looking forward to trooping along with Regal Cinemas in this newest adventure labeled "Clone Wars", the animated stepping stone in the Star Wars genre.
